Above is a modified torque target map to reduce torque output in the lower RPM range.
Above is the factory torque target map for first gear.
Boost by gear is easily achievable by limiting the torque targeting for any mode for each individual gear.
In the above examples we have the original torque target map for a stock Type-R and the reduced torque targets. In the map sub-selection pulldown we have gear 1 selected, indicating these are the targets for first gear. By altering the values and smoothly ramping them back up to the factory targets in this example, we would be limiting power output in the lower RPM range to help control wheel spin.
Reducing Torque Targets can also be done in each subsequent gear by selecting the gear from the sub-selection pulldown menu or clicking -/+ to move to the gear you want.
