Quick adjustments

Post by funz51 »

I am experimenting with the quick adjustments. I have the throttle sens set to Max, and the boost TGT ramp set to Max, on stage 2. When I set the turbo responsiveness up a notch, the rpms seem to hang high. Is this supposed to happen. What exactly happens when I set this to higher setting? Does the ECU keep the rpms high, or does the turbo stay spinning higher longer naturally?

That is for turbo responsiveness only. Targeting and EWG control. I'm not sure what you mean with RPM staying higher as those settings aren't related to rev hang etc. We own the vehicle as well, so I have not seen what you're describing with any of our settings.

Ok... What should I experience if I have the turbo responsiveness turned higher? When I brake coming to red light for example, the revs will stay higher for a few seconds. That's what I mean. You mean you don't experience that?

That is Honda's intentional "rev hang". Turbo responsiveness is for turbo targeting and spool up.
