Howdy,
I was reading over the specs for the KTuner for 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T (see below). It says "Factory Boost targets in ECO mode." So I drive long distances and wanted to run 87 octane on the long trips (in ECO mode) and then switch to Normal/Sport mode when I have switched my fuel to 93 octane fuel. Can I run 87 octane fuel with the ECO mode selected? Thanks!
Stage 2.0 Dual Tune (AT and MT):
Improved throttle response
Removed throttle dampening on low end, better performance off the line
Reduced turbo lag
Improved low-end and midrange torque
Factory Boost targets in ECO mode
Stage 2 Boost targets in normal and sport
Up to 88 lb-ft of torque increase over factory
Up to 60whp increase over factory
27whp peak-to-peak
Producing a much more sporty feel, drivability, and additional power throughout the RPM range!
Stage 2.1 Dual Tune (AT and MT):
Improved throttle response
Removed throttle dampening on low end, better performance off the line
Reduced turbo lag
Improved low-end and midrange torque
Boost level adjusted
Stage 1 Boost targets in ECO mode
KTuner for 87 octane gas?
Re: KTuner for 87 octane gas?
91+ is recommended for any tune, as stated on that same page.

If I put the car and LEAVE the car in ECO mode, will 87 octane be fine? Since everything is supposed to be running stock in that mode?
I understand this is what was asked before but it does not seem to make sense that you still need to run 91 for a setting that is supposed to be stock.

Re: KTuner for 87 octane gas?
We can't recommend anything other than 91+ for any tunes. That is factory boost targets, not a stock tune.
Re: KTuner for 87 octane gas?
Is it possible to keep a preloaded stock tune on the ktuner and switch on the fly between the stock tune and a stage 2 tune?
My main reason is wanting flexibilty to run 87 for roadtrips and 91 when I want.

Re: KTuner for 87 octane gas?
It's not on the fly if you have to flash it in, but yes. The unit can store multiple tunes to flash either on the display or with the TunerView app depending which unit you get.
Re: KTuner for 87 octane gas?
I appreciate your responses. One last question...
What is the process for reflashing back to stock?

V1.2 - Return to factory is in the KTuner software menu.
V2 - Factory is an option on the device.
