Should I be running higher octane fuel with this tune?
Logging has shown some misfires on cyl 1 and 4?

Knock control is the indicator to watch for how the knock system is working.
We always recommend 91+ when tuning. Even stock.

I think if I remember knocks were at 8 but will put in 91 to be safe
Only paid attention to misfires. No engine lights or anything though. Thanks for the response

Does Ktuner download the latest firmware when I connect it to my computer?

8 knock count is nothing to worry about. Again, watch knock control.
If there's a firmware update it will ask you to update if it's a forced update version.
