stage 2 for 2018 Accord Sport 1.5 safe?

I had my car tuned at a dealer and they tuned it at stage 1 dual which is a nice bump in the way the car drives. The dealer stated that stage 2 dual isnt safe unless I installed a straight down pipe. Is this true? Has anyone been running stage 2 dual for many miles and seen any problems? Again I own a 2018 Accord 1.5L

The tunes were designed for a factory vehicle, but do support all exhaust modifications.

If i install a cold air intake should i retune?

All intakes that don't alter the MAF housing size are also supported.
