Terms Definition of Tuning Maps

Hi Sirs,

I could only see five options in Tuning Map, namely:-
1) Ignition Base;
2) Ignition Base 2;
3) Ignition Maximum;
4) WOT Enrichment;
5) WOT Enrichment Cat Heating.

May I know the differences between Ignition Base / Ignition Base 2 / Ignition Maximum ??

Ignition Base = Ignition Table Value?

Ignition Base 2 = ?

Ignition Maximum = Knock Ignition Limitation?

Do we have Knock Retard Table for our Fit?

Thanks.

Regards,
Darren

Ignition bases are used in different conditions. Ignition maximum is the maximum ignition, also used to calculate final ignition output. No need for retard. If you're not pushing sensitivity knock control will lower and you'll get less retard.

For x axis of the Ignition Maximum, the unit is Unk. Is it "Unknown"?

How to compare it with other units of Loading, e.g.mBar/PSI/kPA?

It's a calculated load within the ECU that's not a data item in the factory protocols that we use.

I had been looking into getting the Ktuner V1 for my 2016 Honda Jazz RS and just doing some homework to ensure it will suit my car, and offer what I need from it - but going by this all I can do is change the lambda targets on WOT and adjust ignition timing? No ability to tune cam timing, MAF calibration or anything else like that?

If your ECU is supported you have MAF and CAM as well.

Ok, cool - thanks. Does that mean this post is out of date, as the ones listed don't include those tables?

Is there a resource which shows all the adjustable settings for supported ECUs? I'll check which ECU mine has this weekend, I'm hoping that having a NZ Jazz won't make too much of a difference.

Both of the things you mentioned would be found in parameters, as they're 2D, not 3D tables.

Ok, that makes sense - thanks :)
