I purchased a K Tuner because I was told I can activate the tune with the sport button on my 17 SI. I cant figure out how to do this. I want to run the factory tune on normal driving, and the aftermarket tune when I hit the sport button. Does anyone have a link with the process, or is this even possible?

The Sport switch can be used to switch boost targets, which you have full control of right in the parameters and tables list.

so you cant turn the tune on with the sport button?

You can change boost targets when in sport vs normal. In that way you can make normal mode have factory boost targets. Any global changes in a tune are going to apply globally. If you want a completely factory tune flash back to factory.
