TPS - throttle travel issue

Post by aecorgar »

It´s been almost two years that I own my 1.5T civic sedan and ktuner 1.2

I have a problem on the low throttle travel, when going from idle to the first point of action of the throttle pedal, it goes from idle at 780rpm to 1400.

That causes a jerky behavior of the ACC trying to maintain cruise speed, making it unusable. It happens on every ktuner map, even when tryed return to factory option. It should be noted that on my ECU I only have initial support for ktuner (378205AWG120), so I don´t have acces to the DBW maps o throttle padding options.

I wonder if any of you had the same problem and what could be the solution

This is a video recorded this morning to ilustrate the post:

I'm not sure I understand. If it happens when you return to factory then that's factory operation and has zero to do with us.

Would be possible to enable the DBW maps on that ECU?

I believe this refers to the stuttering or jerkiness that was explained in the civic x forums. There was a fix that made it better but it's still there.

Low rpm (less than 1600) and barely touching the throttle.
