Calibration for TPS

Post by T-MORE09 »

Is there a special way via software to calibrate TPS than manually adjusting via physically? Also will there be an update on scaling TPS? Plz and thanks for replying :?:

There's a calibrate button in parameters. You'll need to upload after you calibrate.

The factory scaling is fine and you can adjust the closed loop threshold for TPS if necessary.

Thanks KT! I deleted the IACV and placed a block off plate and the car reads 0% till about 2K and it puts it in a false limp mode. Figured it need adjusting but I was hoping it'll be easier to do it within the system. It was working fine till I threw a P0511. Deleted it and idle fine till light throttle applied to 2K RPM.

I'll do it when I get home, all I did was hit the button and didn't hit the arrow up/upload. It'll be interesting about the closed loop doe so I'll be on here a lot more when I'm stuck. Thanks for the reply

You probably won't have to change the WOT TPS settings once you calibrate the TPS.

I got it to work for the most part, it still do a false limp mode at about 2K RPMs light throttle but TPS does read 0%-82%/83% at WOT. I'll swap my TPS to the one I ordered and see how it goes...

82% is just fine. That's normal for these cars. That's not the cause.

Alright KT, I'll position it to .45 rest and let it read 4.5 WOT and see what happens. I'm pretty sure the TPS just needs a changing doe

It may, but every single one I've seen is 0-80ish% range. The limit might happen if there's signal loss, but you should see a code if so.
