Post by Boostedtaco »

Hi Ktuner,

Is Obd readiness status for emissions planned in a future build?

Thanks!

We will never allow a force set of readiness, due to EPA guidelines. This product is for off-road use only.

Oh my apologies, I wasn't referring to forcing readiness. I have the end user setup and currently working with a tuner, but i've noticed ever since the car has been flashed, the readiness codes won't be ready. I was under the impression with Ktuner it wouldn't interfere with emissions. Was it something toggled in the tune for it not to read readiness?

Ahh, yes. If they disabled sensors such as secondary O2 that can affect readiness. In order to stay compliant you'll need to actually be compliant.
