E85 tuning

Post by Dustin1717 »

So I’m considering tuning e85 tune. I’m currently running 410cc rdx injectors, could I simply change injector scale to let’s say 287cc to get a good base line tune. (410/30%) I’m coming from only tuning with hptuners, which is much simpler for e85 setup.

You can alter injector sizing, the cylinder trims, or the overall trim if you have those options available.

I’m on the Facebook groups all and I feel there’s enough guys modifying fits and crz to get flex fuel option. They are the same setup as a civic, still uses a secondary temp sensor that could be used as sensor input. Would just need coded wrote by ktuners them self. I’m currently running E50 and it’s been a real pain having to load a new tune every time I get some variant in fuel.

Count me in I don't have KTuner yet but if they add Flex Fuel to CR-Z I will buy it.

Any update on 4 bar map sensor tuning? I’m still hopeful of flex fuel too 🙃
