Can't return ECU to stock and unlock

On a DBW 06 S2000 with the key on but the engine off; the buttons for return to factory and unlock unit from ECU are greyed out. I can't press them. But I am connected to the KTuner and the KTuner is connected to the car. I am using KTuner 1.0.10.1. I would like to not update. What am I doing wrong?
