IAT Correction in Fuel

Post by Bigfieroman »

Hello,

I am working on tuning my supercharged 2007 S2000, and I did ~8 iterations of the tune in about 80 degree ambient weather. I tuned to 11.8:1 and through the iterations, never had to adjust more than 2%. It was making 14.1 PSI with IATs @~113 degrees by the last log.

The next morning, I went out and did a datalog @ 50 degrees. To my horror, the tune was WAY lean. 13-13.5:1 at the top, even with 9% higher FDC. It made 16.9 PSI and IAT was @~65 degrees.

I assume this means I need to adjust the IAT Fuel High Load table to offer a good bit more fuel at lower temperatures. Is this table in % fuel? Is this the correct place to be making adjustments for the cooler IAT and higher boost I see in cold temperatures?

Thank you.

IAT corrections are in % and can be made there. Boost level changes are not accounted for in IAT corrections, that'd be in the fuel tables directly.
