A basemap is a starting point. We've optimized cam angles for the engine and certain other parameters. Fine tuning beyond that for your specific modifications is completely up to you to pursue.

Hello Ktuner! I just bought the V2 and I have registered and am running tune 1 on my stock Honda civic si 2007. I was wondering if I could start messing with the vtec engagement and rev limiter. I don't want to hurt the car if i do. Should I consult with a tuner or can I do it myself knowing I have stock everything but the clutch and flywheel?

I'd definitely consult with a tuner rather than just making changes if you're unsure!

So I got a hybrid racing cold air intake and it’s telling me to change the MAF to MAP. And also I have no idea how I’m going to be able to take it to my tuner to tune it after getting full bolt ons. Do you know what to do and just for a temporary solution while I’m able to drive with it installed to take to my tuner? Please let me know because I’m really just debating to get Hondata flashpro instead if there’s no other way. Thank you!
