Misfire and knock count

Post by Lowfg2 »

I just installed ktuner base map on my stock 2009 si. After a test drive it’s reading misfires in all cylinders as well as a high knock count. Any ideas as to what the problem is? Thank you

As mentioned in the description for the tune, you likely have an intake that's throwing fueling off. Talk to a tuner.

With factory or properly designed intake for MAF, sure. With the majority of the intakes out there, probably not without switching to the speed density option and consulting a tuner.

Assumed it is factory intake as it’s still covered by the intake box but I will check. So for the time being is it ok to run on the speed density tune or must I get it tuned immediately?

I'd recommend getting it tuned right away.
