6 speed manual swap + boost

Post by aixzw »

I have bought a k24a4 out of a wrecked 2005 honda element. Just the engine, no ecu, no tranny, no harness. Ktuner seems like a good choice in terms of pricepoint, but I havenb't been able to find a true answer to some questions I have.

1. does this (https://www.hamotorsports.com/products/ ... eq=uniform) plug directly into a stock k24a4 harness? or do I need an adpater harness?

2. If i was to use a 6 speed manual from a 09 civic si, would ktuner be able to read it normally? I assume i would have to do some wiring work for some transmission sensors, but would Ktuner be able to read the 6 speed?

3. I see data logging is a feature, would I be able to street tune with low boost? I am not planning to run more than 10lbs, but I haven't found a good answer for this product

thanks

You'll want to look at the RSX/Swap page. The PRB codebase is 6 speed, but gearing likely won't match so it may be off at certain speeds. The newer sensor is fine to use. It is tuning software allowing you to tune the vehicle.
