What is fuel status 74 and 75? I'm having an issue with an RPM drop/hang WOT at around 5800 RPM.
I see in the log is that fuel status changes from 4 to 74 to 75 then back to 4 and keeps pulling from there.
STFT goes from 0% to -10% when this happens and LTFT goes to -100. Can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening.
Oh and my knock control goes from 0.73 to 13.4 and the ECT sensor goes from 174 to 1, this makes no sense...
Fuel Status question
Re: Fuel Status question
Sounds like your ECU is resetting or you're seeing momentary bad data on the bus. Ensure your unit has up to date firmware using the latest software and go from there.

Re: Fuel Status question
Thank you for the reply. I'm using software version 1.0.12.6 and have the v1.2 device. I have plugged in recently so I assume the firmware is up-to-date. I'll try and check for manual firmware update. What would cause the ECU to reset randomly like that?
Well shit, looking into the log more I think your theory on ECU resetting may be correct. IAT, VSS, GEAR, BAT, and VTEC all go blank at the moment this happens.

Re: Fuel Status question
Flashed back to factory, logged again, not nearly as bad data but the problem still exists. This time fuel.stat goes from 4 to 1 to 4, LAM and LAM2 go from 13.86 to 18.06. LAM.CMD both get all screwy before it happens (commanding 15.1). FDC and FP1 numbers look to be all over the place (don't know what those abbreviations are). TPS.CMD also seems to be doing its own thing when i was for sure ALL IN.

Re: Fuel Status question
Update: FIXED!
I removed my aftermarket CAN remote start system and the problem is now gone. Thank you very much for the little piece of techy advice to get my brain going in the right direction.
I would still like to know what the fuel status' are. Is this documented somewhere? I couldn't find it...
Also, what is the difference between LAM and LAM2? Is that bank 1 and bank 2? I'm asking because LAM, LAM.ADJ, and LAM.CMD all look pretty spot on (around 12.2-12.4) but LAM2, LAM2.ADJ are 14.3 when LAM2.CMD is 12.4

Re: Fuel Status question
Ahhh yes another CAN device can be interfering with the data! That can also interfere with flashing, so watch out!
Yes, that would be bank 1 and 2 if you're a V6.

Re: Fuel Status question
V6 yes. 2010 Acura MDX. What do you think the cause of the difference in LAM values are then? STFT and LTFT stays 0 on both banks when this happens.
Re: Fuel Status question
We only show what the ECU reports. We can't offer remote diagnosis.

Re: Fuel Status question
I get that entirely, trust me I'm not asking for diagnosis. I'm asking for explanation of parameters...
Where my confusion lies is that LAM2.CMD (commanded fuel) is 12.4 but LAM.ADJ is 14.3 and LAM2 (actual AFR for bank 2) is 14.3
What is the difference between those two parameters then? What is adjust? I thought there was only commanded fuel, and actual fuel.
In HDS we have AF FB Cmd, is that what you've named LAM.ADJ?

Re: Fuel Status question
Adjusted is for applications where the factory wideband reads richer than actual.
