Parameters settings

Post by CBRriderr »

i have several questions on parameters.
see image i have highlighted.
for EGR system. can i check that box and use EGR block off plates?
OBDII monitors disabled
so at moments they are checked. what exactly does it mean if I uncheck both EGR and O2 boxes?
i cannot find in help menu.
also do i always have open new tune and set all parameters and all every time i connect ktuner to laptop?
i connect just now but cant see how to open current tune i have from 3 days ago. i had to open new tune and set up everything.
thank you in advance.

We can't coach you on disabling emissions equipment.

They're labeled by section and name. You can research the functionality associated with the labels.

Save your tune file. Then you can open it up later and continue to alter.

I tried to save 3 times. It says file not found. After I click save . Then I type a name and ok. I get message file not found.
Shouldn't ktuner software rear the tune on the v2 and load it ??
so you cannot help with settings on a device you guys build? you can sell it , but cannot assist?
i could not find anything as far as disabling each Code, what it does.
maybe point me in the correct path in the online help manual
if a disable Primary and secondary O2 form menu, does this put the ECM in closed loop then?
thank you in advance

You're asking about saving here, but then create a new thread for it too. Stick to one instead of creating a bunch of them. Your answer is in the other thread.

We can't offer guidance on disabling emissions equipment. It may not be legal where you're located. Check your local laws.

If both O2s are disables what's the ECU supposed to be using for O2 feedback?

i thought by disable both O2, , then engine is in closed loop, and goes off parameters set in Tune?

That would be open loop.
The table tells you what x and y is based on. Base output leads to the input on final.
