Can I use my K-Tuner tune file on another car?

I have a 2017 V6 Accord Coupe Touring and have my K-Tuner tune file saved to my computer. My friend just got a 2017 V6 Accord Coupe EX-L, and he will be getting a K-Tuner V1.2 (like mine) sometime soon. My question is, can we just copy my tune file to his laptop and flash it to his car using his K-Tuner, or is a tune file locked to a specific VIN? (It would just be nice to not have to re-enter all the parameters I've set, as his car is basically the same mechanically as mine.)

It depends on several things. If your tune is not locked (by a tuner for example) and if the ECU serial number is identical you can flash it.
