I scuffed up my new one too and it even shorted my car. I think the harness is connected to it that makes it a ground and when it touched my gear it shut down on me I spaced it away and it does the same thing as before. Anyone has a knock sensor that not registering knock even knock count cycle? I changed my sensor because it did this and my new one is doing the same. I swear I'm having problems after probelms right before Dyno Day

Alright, so I looked at my VSS and the magnetic lead is a bit scuffed up from the gear. I'm pretty sure that's the problem, I've ordered a new one from parts store so I'll see how it goes tomorrow when I get it in.

My guess is the scuff marks on my VSS may have something to do with the jumping
