If you've failed a flash with the OBD interface the ECU will go into recovery mode. The next time you connect to the unit you will get a message telling you that the ECU is in recovery mode. You will not be able to start the vehicle while in recovery mode. Don't freak out.
When you get the message asking if you'd like to recover simply hit yes.
If you choose yes to recover but receive a message that the ECU isn't ready then just wait a few more seconds and let the software try to connect again or unplug the USB interface and plug it back in to initiate a connection to the ECU.
The software will go through the same steps as it does with a reflash and once it finishes you will be back on factory software.
