Hi guys,

Is 91 Octane a must, as this is the only thing holding me back from buying a Ktuner? 2018 Accord 1.5t.

We recommend, and will always recommend, 91+ while running tunes that increase power output. The ECU will pull timing to try and compensate for poor fuel quality if you run 87, which will affect actual performance you see.

I know you mentioned that 91+ octane is the way to go but is it possible we can run e85? I stumbled upon the Ktuner flex Converter, just wondering what is the purpose of the converter. Is it to let the car run on e85 ? Also I know the converter is made for the civic but Is that something we can use on the accord 1.5 ?

Once a flex fuel feature is released we can recommend up to E30 for these 1.5T applications. Currently the feature isn't there to control fueling.
