Knock Control on Factory Tune

After being a little curious about the knock control numbers I was seeing on stage 2 on 93 octane and the crazy gas prices, I decided to revert back to stock on 87.
Stage 2 w/93 knock control was often reaching 56 under low rpm acceleration, but quickly settling down to 49.
Stock w/87 I rarely see 49,itI usually is at 53 at a steady lowest. It has crept into the 70s when slowly accelerating in 10th gear (auto cruse). I am not concerned as I hear no knocking ad the car performs as id did before owning the KTuner.
Gas mileage is about the same for both, usually around 25 mpg with mixed driving. It does drop if I don't average 30 mph for the tank. It gets much better on highway trips with a higher average.
This has given me more confidence in the safety using Stage 2 with 93. Anyone here monitor their stock tune? Please share.
