Missing software image

Have had a blank screen with the text "missing software image" a few times when starting up my car. I've been unplugging, and replugging it to solve the issue. Is there any reason for this?

It can't read the image from the SD card. It tells you to connect with the software.

So just reconnecting it to my computer with Ktuner running will fix the issue, is that correct?

If it says it's missing an image the software will write that image again.
