Does the Vehicle that the ktuner being plugged into need the CANN system functional?
Im looking for a tuning solution for my Frankenstein J series currently running in my 1960 VW Baja. The setup is a J35a1 bottem end, J32a2 heads, J32a3 intake manifold, run by a 2006 TL base M/T ECU. The DLC works with no issue but the CANN system functions are not. I've logged nearly 11,000 miles in the car and I want more power. I'm not running the TL gauge cluster where the CANN system computer or multi function complex takes place. I want to go forced Induction once I can find a tuner that works with tuning my current setup.https://myip.kim/ https://birthdaywishes.onl/ https://elecpay.in/tneb/

Re: Vehicle wiring for full functionality
The V2 doesn't support the 04-06 TL ECUs, if you see the application list.
Re: Vehicle wiring for full functionality
Hi,
I actually have the same question. I am using a 07-08 TL ECU and I am wiring my own harness. In the schematics for the car, the F-Can Transceiver is located inside the gauge cluster. I was just planning on using my v2 as my display but I want to make sure I don't need this to be wired in for the DLC connector to work properly. I uploaded a screenshot of the wiring for reference. Thanks for your help.

Re: Vehicle wiring for full functionality
DLC will function with or without a cluster.
