I saw in the welcome thread a fellow who had a similar ECU number to mine.

I have an ECU ending in "5an-a84" and have been holding off on purchasing KTuner since the ECUs listed for the civics ends at a83.

Is my cars ECU compatible with ktuner or is support not there yet? If not are updates coming?

This is great news! Hopefully updating the site lets other Civic owners know they can purchase ktuner now as well. Here's hoping budget still allows purchasing within the next few months.
