Fan Control Output

Hi,
Just a quick question about the fan output settings. I noticed that my tuner had this set at 190 engage and 170 disengage. I noticed that this made my temp gauge move by a small amount after the fan comes on and then it climbs again a bit after the fan goes off reflecting the 20 degree change but it doesn't do that with the stock calibration. The preloaded calibrations don't have these numbers, I think it has 1832 for both engage and disengage. Which should i be using and why such high numbers for the preloaded calibrations? Do those high numbers allow the car to cool directly from the fan switch temp sensor which i have observed turns the fan on at 203 degrees and off at 196. Thanks.

As the numbers would indicate, it's not used factory.

Let's try a reword. The FAN output is not used from the factory, hence the values.

Ok, so with those numbers it's running directly from the fan temp switch. Thanks.
