RDX Injectors

RDX Injectors

Postby daje00 » Wed Jun 28, 2017 7:56 am

I have some RDX injectors I want to install on my Rsx with a k20z1. I'm currently tuned on the stock RSX injectors. Will a retune be necessary if I install them or do I just have to enter 310cc into the old injector field and 410 into the new injector field. Thanks.

You also need to adjust battery offsets and additional adjustments may be required.

Ok, but will it be safe as far as AFR goes for me to drive it that way for a while until I can get it tuned or atleast be able to drive it 1hr to my tuner?

We're not going to tell you that any changes are safe. If you're not on it then closed loop will handle any necessary adjustment beyond those changes, if your injectors don't have any issues.

so i noticed this thread is from 2017, regarding the rdx injectors i see there is a drop down menu for the injector dead times and the rdx injectors are there. it populates the columns in the offset tables. were the dead times in there at the time of this question or released recently? Do i still have to have it retuned and figure out the dead times and offsets for the rdx injectors ? i just got tuned with stock injectors and would like to switch to rdx injectors. if fueling was dialed in correct with stock injectors theoretically i should be able to just input 410cc on the injector size and choose the rdx injectors from the dead times drop down menu and it should run the same . please correct me if i'm wrong. Thank you.

Those have been there for years and they should be accurate for the RDX injectors if you choose them.
