I did what you said. I cleared tunes. Car I believe is reset to factory. I now need to log into the ktuner without being logged into the vehicle correct?

My ktuner program on mt laptop is now saying KTuner was unable to communicate properly with the ecu. If you're sure everything was installed proper please choose from the following options:
Retry
Recover ECU ( which is grayed out)
Disconnect

Ktuner is not responding to the vehicle at all now. Won't even light up to the vehicle via plug in or key on mode.

Could my whole problem be the authenticating then disconnecting issue?

Looks like the problem solved itself. I did the recovery after I replaced the obd chord to the Ktuner v2 and it worked. I then unplugged it and uploaded my tunes to the Ktuner v2. Then I plugged it back to my obd chord and failed to flash. I am thinking the chord itself is now bad. The Ktuner fell off the window the other day from the sun even with the suction mount when my wife drove my car. I put very very soft pressure on the obd chord (I can't emphasize the word soft enough) and it did the recovery, then I tried to upload the tune with very slight preassure and it uploaded.
For anyone with this problem please do not put preassure on your Ktuner or if it is in ecu module definitely do not put preasure on it! Contact Ktuner for a replacement or order a brand new one! And Ktuner thank you so much for your speedy replies!
