Slow Throttle Response

Post by J35 »

Ok so I am new here to the thread.

My question is....Is there any way to increase the throttle response?
I just installed the the new software and and I'm using the Tune 2 platform as I already have the Pre-Cats Deletes, Wide Open Magnaflow Cat and Magnaflow exhuast along with a Takeda SRI, oh yeah and an Acura TL Throttle body.
After installing the Tune 2 basemap....I was expecting a little more kick. Drives great but just seems to be lacking still. Perhaps I did something wrong?

Or is there some parameters I can change that will increase the Throttle response time? Oh yeah, and I do not see an option the decrease the RPM level in which iVtec engages? am I just not seeing it here? :?

thank you

You didn't list your vehicle. If AT you don't have VTEC.

You have full access to the DBW (Drive by wire) maps.

Sorry, I assumed under the title of the thread.

2010 Accord Coupe V6 (J35)

Does not have Vtec-has iVtec :| :| :|
Supposed to be "Intelligent Vtec" .

I assumed AT since you don't have VTEC settings, but since AT and MT are drastically different engine wise the section this is in is not specific enough.

Either way, questions answered. :)

Just to piggy back on this. Are the DBW tuning capabilities different on the auto vs the m/t ? I noticed looking at some settings I saw online that my DBW Final and DBW Base graphs did not go in the same increments as what I saw online.

Tuning capabilities meaning the same tables? Same tables are available.
