ECU swap

Post by @ccord10 »

If i swap my sedan ECU with a coupe ECU will i simply just unlock one ECU and lock the other when i swap them or will i be required to pay again when i swap the ECU'S?

Honda shows the same part number for coupe and sedan, so I'm not even sure why you'd do that. Perhaps you can elaborate on what ECU you have now and what ECU you plan to put in.

Good luck with that. They changed pinouts and requirements on the i4 and I expect it's no different since they have versions for the same years on the V6. I can't support the differences between years so you are absolutely on your own.

does the k-tuner work the same way? The XXXXXXXX is locked to one vehicle and ECU at a time. It can be transferred to another vehicle after returning the ECU to stock and unlocking.
