Automatic to Manual Swap - Manual ECU Required?

So, I have another question regarding my planned swap. Can I just flash the manual tune onto my automatic ECU after the conversion to work correctly? Or will it require the manual harness and ECU?

Manual ECU required. Programmed to your VIN and sync'd with your immobilizer.

Thank you for the information. Will the harness be required as well for the manual ECU to work?
