50* cam gear

I see that the map that includes a 50 degree cam gear has a limit to 42 degrees. My question is, if you should still pin or machine the cam gear to a max of 45 degrees with the ktuner?

The ECU does what it can to effectively reach the targets and not go passed the limits set in software. If you want extra protection hardware limit it to the limit you choose.
