FLEX sensor pin

Post by nylumiro24 »

Good evening KTUNER.

Getting ready to install a FLEX sensor on my K Swapped Supercharged CRX. I see in the Help section the in the Ktuner Rev 1 the right two pins are used. The right pin is ground, the middle pin is for the flex fuel input.

I have a Rev 1.1, is the pin out still the same?

Rev 1.1 is a Rev 1. Ground can be used as common ground, not to ground the sensor completely.

Thank you for response!
So, just the signal from sensor gets connected to the board input since the other 2 pins (at the sensor) are power and ground.

Yes and the ground can be connected to the common ground for the sensor.

Wiring done, sensor plummed.

As far as the software (Yes, I will get it profesional tuned, But for now I need the car to drive). Do I have to do both, change the fuel type under preferences>Fuel setting to Ethanol and set the FLEX table? Or is the FLEX Table the only thing to adjust when dealing with FLEX fuel.

I am not running all the time Ethanol.

Preferences is for logging. ECU settings are in the tune parameters.
