Element or TSX platform/ECU?

I'm planning a k24A2 (or equivalent JDM K24A) to go into my 2007 Element Auto AWD.

Does this mean I should refer to an Element platform, or a TSX platform for the tune?

I noticed that the Element 07-08 doesn't support injector sizing yet (Beta). So it would matter as that's one known difference between the A8 and the A2.

Edit: I plan to keep the stock Element ECU, unless it is advantageous to use an 07-08 TSX ECU.

Thanks for your time.

Only MT is supported for 07-08, if you see the website for part numbers. The other post was corrected.

07-08 uses MAF, not speed density. You have control of fueling either way.

Thanks for letting me know that auto is not supported.

There is nothing on the Element 07-08 application page that mentions the transmission so that is very helpful info.

What I still don't understand, and maybe I just need to pore over the diagrams in AllData, is does the ECU more relate to the vehicle platform, or the engine, or the transmission?

In any case, I appreciate the quick reply and what you are doing for people with Ktuner. I'm sorry to hear it won't work for me in my 07 Element. If you know or can think of any configuration that would work, please let me know.

There are ECU numbers, so you haven't checked that yet.

Nothing will work for you currently and we're months out on adding support for any new ECUs.

Per a conversation on social media James Holy said there was now limited A/T support for the A/T 07/08 Element. I'm definitely game for my 08 if this is true, I figured I would add to this thread to ask about it. I haven't had time to dig out my ECU unless there is a way to retrieve the ECU number by other means but I would swap it for Ktuner.OEM TSX powered 5spA/T Element would be delightful.
