The 05 ECUs use a wideband sensor.

I realized there is an additional product question - what maps/tunes are provided with the purchase? Just a copy of the stock tune, or does it include a mildy tweaked one (shifted VTEC engagement, etc., based on stock hardware?).

Since I'm actually using a K24a3 from a TSX, can I get the maps required for the specific setup of that motor vs. whatever came in an '05 L4 accord, or does it not make any difference?

Looking in the Accord subforum it is unclear to me, one fellow seemed to have problems driving with what was provided.
Just to wrap this one up, I used the custom tune as my base, and substituted the VTC map and limits from the TSX base code. With that, and P0511 disabled, I have it running with no error codes and good enough to get it to the tuner.

Really stodgy with base TSX VTC lower map, So I added some values using the custom map as a guide in terms of range. Raised limit to 24, as long as limit is higher than what is requested in the map, no P1009 code sets, it seems. Runs nicely on this. I'm going to get a 40º wheel, and do that before the dyno to get more midrange pull.

You may benefit from altering the DBW maps as well.

I'm using this base:

Shouldn't be any DBW maps in it, surely?

Can't get the IACV to function properly, which is the only frustration at this point.

Ya, that won't have DBW and isn't for your swap, hence the VTC codes. There's reference to a DBW ECU in your title. Hope you figure out your IACV issue.

Yes- that was the start, I bought a 37820-RAD-A04 DBC ECU since I wasn't going to be using DBW for my application

I figured out from RockAuto, cross referencing a 2005 Honda EX Coupe that the manual trans ECU was either a 37820-RAD-A02 or A03. I found an 37820-RAD-A04, which appears to the the superseding number, so I ordered that..
