I realized there is an additional product question - what maps/tunes are provided with the purchase? Just a copy of the stock tune, or does it include a mildy tweaked one (shifted VTEC engagement, etc., based on stock hardware?).

Since I'm actually using a K24a3 from a TSX, can I get the maps required for the specific setup of that motor vs. whatever came in an '05 L4 accord, or does it not make any difference?

Looking in the Accord subforum it is unclear to me, one fellow seemed to have problems driving with what was provided.

You have a custom setup that will require custom tuning. A basemap is a starting point. All included are available by going to File>New Tune.

Once I have a purchased the UB & downloaded & registered the software, that's what you are referring to (File>New Tune)?

I'm referring to the software. There's no other way to tune.

I understand, I'm referring to the base maps that you provide, those I would find under File>New Tune?
Looking in the software index, I don't see a File>New Tune category, but I haven't paid for the UB yet.

SORRY - I'm looking in the http://www.ktuner.com/KTunerHelp/ index, not in the tuner software :D

I've tuned before, just older Volvos & with TunerPro

I have been told by another K20 X1/9 swapper that the speed signal from the AST5 6 speed manual will not work (in terms of signal provided) with the ECU from a non DBW setup.

SInce I'm using the '05 Accord A05 ECU (which was a 5 speed manual, looking at your earlier reply) am I going to run into a communication issue with the (TSX) AST5 6 speed speed sensor output & what the A05 ECU is expecting to recieve from the trans?

I'm not familiar enough with Honda product to know where to look to find out what type of speed sensor/output was installed in the two models, to compare ouput signal type in each case.

Signal works fine for speed. The ECU is 5 speed and will see 5 speeds only.

Finally getting close to actually running the system - in the next few weeks, hopefully.

Another question arose that I cannot find an answer for, so I assume I just don't know how to phrase it - does the '05 use a wideband signal or is it still the crappy old narrowband? The O2 (Bosch 15482 / Denso 234-9066) is only 4-wire, but described as wideband.

Some one else suggested I use the ECU signal to run my UEGO instead of adding a second WBO2 to the header.
