Ktuner V2 dead?

hey i recently got my ktuner v2 back in november. used it maybe twice, flashed a base tune and left it in my car. decided to take it out of my car and hook it up to my computer to play with it again. i plug it in and the computer makes a noise like it recognizes it but nothing shows on up on my ktuner. weird i thought. went out to my car and plugged it thru my obd2 cable with the engine on and still nothing shows. think its dead?
