Ktuner OBD2 car specific?

Hello I bought the Ktuner OBD2 interface for my 2008 Acura TL. I am wondering will that same unit work on a 2008 TSX provided I unlock it from my current ECU? or is it car specific and need to buy a unit made for a TSX?
