Hello!
I’m brand new to the tuning world, but very excited about where I’m at. So I’m currently running the stage 2 map (recently installed PRL stage 1 intake), and noticing some irregular knock control on startup, and while driving. On a cold start, it will read around .60ish and get up to about .80 during spirited driving. I use Chevron 91, but also live in Cali. Curious about a few things. First and foremost, I’d like to provide some data logging for you to review, but still unsure exactly how to do that. I’m assuming my laptop needs to connected to my V2 and to the ECU while I drive? Not sure if adding a gallon or so of E85 on next fill up would improve octane performance and reduce knock, but hoping for some guidance here. I don’t just want to band aid this in a sense. Any guidance on data logging at this point, would be greatly appreciated!

The knock control system will adjust for your fuel quality and environmental factors. We do not review datalogs related to that.

Okay, thank you for responding. Do those #’s seem high? What would be a threshold of concern related to this?

The ECU will adjust as necessary based on fuel quality and environmental factors. I can't guess the range for your situation in that.

Cali Chevron 91…Cold start 65 degrees F and knock control starts at high .6s and will jump to mid .8s quickly under medium acceleration. Not sure why this is happening, but any advice would be very helpful here. Thank you!

Knock control is moving because "The ECU will adjust as necessary based on fuel quality and environmental factors."
