Salvaged type S for $4000

I’m 19 and looking at buying a salvaged type S, I talked him down to $3650 idk if he can go lower. I got an insurance quote for $100 a month for comprehensive and $176 for full.

I also don’t know how to drive manual yet but my friend that was with me told me that nothing really worried him about it. The owner has had it for 15 years since it’s been salvaged. Any advice? It’s also a 2002.
