KTuner Fun Facts!

Post by WilliamMadyam »

I have the 1.2. I didn't think the touchscreen/extra display was worth it, but if you've got the cash, go for it!With the 1.2, you can upload multiple tunes. You can also have three maps that allow boost settings per map. You can also have dual boost targets in sport/normal. If you create five tunes, you can upload them to "slots" on the KTuner. You can then park and switch them on the fly with your phone. With the KTuner v2 I believe you need a PC less often and have a touchscreen interface rather than needing to use your phone.

Feel free to turn on "disable rev hang", "early spool", and turn boost ramping completely off if you want. The Factory+ tunes plus these disables/toggles make a world of difference without increasing boost. From what everyone is saying, the +3 PSI tune is perfectly safe even over 40k miles, and the +6 PSI tune or TSP Stage 2 tune are fine besides clutch wear/slippage. You can mitigate this by limiting boost to factory or +3 levels by gear in 1st, 5th, and 6th gears since that's where the most clutch slip happens from what I've read. https://scrabblewordfinder.vip https://www.applock.ooo https://www.7zip.vip

Fun facts/useful tips: Cruise control re-enables rev hang, which makes for smoother parking lot/1st/2nd gear driving.

Advanced VSA (traction control) is ON TOP of Factory VSA, so you may not notice it unless turning traction control off. Turning traction control completely and turning on cruise disables all traction control if using Advanced VSA.
