You should only be using positive values to retard timing for tip-in. If you're having to advance on tip in then your tune is not right.

Gear multiplier is a multiplier by gear for tip-in. Percentage. -100% adjustment means it's pulling 100%, so no retard would be applied. 0 means no adjustment is applied, so it will apply the set retard in those gears... etc
So essentially, 0 and -100% are the same thing here?
