i downloaded and installed the update and everytime i reopen ktuner it keeps telling me there is a new version. so whats the issue?? and i have my computer and ecu all hooked up with the key on and have wifi, ktuner wont connect to the ecu. it just keeps saying that its authenticating and it wont stop saying that

You have not actually updated the software, more than likely. Perhaps because of your permissions so try to run as administrator.
