Begining Data Logging v1.2

Hi, I'm completely new to ECU tuning. I've reflashed my 2012 Si with a base tune on v1.2.
How do I start recording datalogs with just the unit plugged into the OBD2 port? I've tried driving with the unit plugged in after putting the new tune on. When I connected it back to laptop I found no datalog sessions from the unit. Will it automatically start collecting data or do I need to change a setting or hit a button? I've read through the help pages on the ktuner website and watched the videos, didn't find anything helpful. Also the light on the OBD2 unit is solid green when connected to laptop or not. Again, I'm completely new to the software so if there is a button or preference I'm supposed to switch then I don't know it. Thanks
