Hello i had a question about the ktuner ecu. i plugged in a scan tool i had to my obd and noticed the different vin number right away. At this moment i am swapping my factory ecu back when its comes to needing a inspection.
Later in the near by future i am planning on swapping a k24a2 in my accord and uploading that base tune. Where i live emission testing is mandatory. Where you have to connect the computer to the car and its sends the vin to the state to make sure its matching up with the scanned
car. Is it possible to rewrite the vin number on the ecu to match my vehicle vin if i took it in to honda?

Not without putting it back to stock and unlocking the hardware first. Then you'd lock it to the new VIN. If you don't have the end user it won't work.

Ok i do have the end user. so i would need to flash it to stock then take it to honda and have them re write the new vin?
