Re: Viewing Knock Retard in logs
Yeah, I got that going. I was only looking for it in the csv cause I was working on my own tables in excel. I work in excel all day so it’s what I really know. I know everything I need is there in the kt software, it just takes a little to get used to is all.

Re: Viewing Knock Retard in logs
Well, it's not actually blank, there is a 0... KR stays in the list and at zero most of the time and every once in a while a number will pop up. And then it goes back to 0. If that's normal, then what does it mean when it does change from 0 to a number? My understanding is that it's showing the amou...

Re: Viewing Knock Retard in logs
So what causes the knock retard field in the datalist to randomly populate a value when it’s almost always blank?

Viewing Knock Retard in logs
How come the Knock Retard values are not in the .csv (exported datalog)? I want to quickly and easily find where KR is happening. Currently having to watch for it while playing the datalog, and it’s rough sifting through a long datalog. And KR is not an option to add as an analog/digital gauge, or a...

Re: Lost factory tune?
Oh boy... So what you're saying is that when the message appears, "This KTunerFlash Unit Needs To Be Setup In Order To Connect. This Includes Setting Up Recovery And The Factory Tune. Would You Like To Set This Unit Up For This ECU Now?" , the KT software is taking the factory calibration ...

Re: Lost factory tune?
I get that the message indicates it's setting up the factory tune on the device, but where is it getting the "Factory" tune from? Is it the one from the KT software ("Factory Base Calibration") or is it taking an image(snapshot) of the current parameters in the ECU. The terminolo...

Re: Lost factory tune?
Clarification please! When setting the unit up for the first time(or after clearing stored tunes) and the KT software is doing its setup thing, is the device calibrating the factory settings from the car's ecu or is it loading the factory calibration preset from the KT software?

Re: popping exhaust sound
Hey ehatem, One thing that did change in the tunes: Factory Base -> Ktuner pre-made “tune 1”, was the WOT fueling table. On low load, the 11.8s that are in the 3-4700rpm range were changed to 12.8, and similar changes, 11.8 -> 12.8, were made in the high load table. Less fuel = less chance of back f...

Re: Limiter/Governor
Sent the pre-made tune, "Tune 1", and the tune with ignition and fuel adjustments based off of the pre-made tune.
