Datalogging / flashing aside ETC - Does the Ktuner have the (very basic) ability to in general read and clear OBD Trouble / Check Engine Light Codes

Quick Question here. For the KTuner V1.2 OBD Adaptor, can I leave that plugged into the car permanently? 24/7/365 at all times? Or should I remove it every single night when i park the car, etc? The reason I ask, I know with some regular OBD Bluetooth Adaptors, if you leave them plugged into the car...
