Double click the installer and go through the steps until the end. If you have Windows Vista or newer you can select to install the device drivers at the end of the installation.
Once installation is successful you should have a KTuner folder in the Programs Folder and a KTuner icon on the desktop.
Running the application will bring you to the End User License Agreement. If you accept you will be brought to the Account Management window.
To get started follow these steps.
Make sure your KTuner device is plugged in or the Update and Register buttons will be disabled.
New Account:
Enter a valid email address and a password. You are not required to enter a name. Click Register.
Existing Account:
Enter your email and password. Click Update.
If you lose your password email us from the account email address.
It will alert you that your account has been successfully updated or registered. When you press close the main layout window will open.
Once you have the software opened to the layout window you’ll see a list on the left that gives you quick access to layout tabs and parameters.
The lower left hand status box will give you the connection status including the percentage of completion during a reflash.
After connecting you’ll be asked to register the unit and lock the unit to the ECU. Once you do this you can upload and begin to manipulate the tune or parameter settings.
